Playlist Scheduling

Scheduling lets you control when a content item plays. You can limit it to a date range, specific days, a time window, or any combination of these. Items with schedule rules stay in the queue but are skipped during playback whenever they fall outside those rules.

To set a schedule, open the Add Content modal when adding a new item, or click the pencil icon on an existing item to open Edit Item. Click Schedule to expand the section. If rules are already set, the section expands automatically.

1. Set a Date Range

Use the Start Date and End Date fields to control when the item becomes active and when it stops. Dates use dd/mm/yyyy format. Leave either field blank to leave that end open - for example, a Start Date with no End Date means the item plays from that date with no expiry.

2. Choose Days

Toggle the day buttons (S M T W T F S) to choose which days the item plays. Four presets are also available: Weekdays, Weekends, Every day, and Clear to remove all selections.

3. Set a Time Window

Use the From and Until fields to restrict the item to a specific window each day. Leave both blank to play at any time of day.

4. Set a Priority

The Priority field accepts a value between 0 and 100. When multiple items are scheduled for the same time, higher priority items play first. The default is 0.

To reset all fields at once, click Clear allschedule rules at the bottom of the section.
