Overrides let you push a single piece of content to a playlist, display, or group immediately, bypassing whatever is currently playing. An override runs until you clear it manually, or stops automatically once its set duration expires.

Where to Push an Override

  • Playlist: in the playlist editor, click Add Override in the Content tab header.
  • Display: click the megaphone icon on a display card or row, or click Push override on the display detail page.
  • Group: click the megaphone icon on a group card or row, or click Push override on the group detail page.

Push an Override

  1. Open the Push Override modal from one of the locations above.
  2. Select an Override Type and configure the content source.
  3. Optionally, set a Display Duration. Leave it blank to keep the override running until you clear it manually.
  4. Click Push to confirm.

Clear an Override

When an override is active, a notice appears wherever you can manage it:

  • Playlist: in the playlist editor, an Override Active section appears above the content list. Click Resume Rotation to clear it.
  • Display: on the display detail page, click Clear current override.
  • Group: on the group detail page, click Clear current override.
